2. Scope & applicability
This Policy applies to visitors and registered users of earnova.com and related apps, emails, and services we control. It does not govern third-party websites, survey panels, game publishers, offer networks, or payment providers that have their own privacy policies. When you leave our Platform to complete a partner task, their terms and privacy practices also apply.
We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) as and when applicable to our operations, together with other mandatory Indian laws.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Account & identity data. Name, email address, password (stored hashed), profile preferences, and identifiers from social login providers (e.g. Google) if you choose that method.
3.2 Wallet & transaction data. Earnings credits, pending rewards, cash-out requests, payout method, destination details you provide (PayPal email, gift-card email, crypto address, etc.), timestamps, and status of payouts.
3.3 Task & partner event data. Offer/survey/game identifiers, completion or conversion events received from partner postbacks/SDKs, device or click identifiers needed to attribute rewards, and fraud/quality signals.
3.4 Technical & usage data. IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type/version, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, session timing, and diagnostic logs.
3.5 Communications. Messages you send to support, dispute materials, and records of our responses.
3.6 Cookies & similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (as defined under applicable law) unless you voluntarily provide it or a partner requires limited verification data that you choose to submit on their site.
4. Why we use your information (purposes)
- Create and secure your account; authenticate you
- Operate the wallet, credit rewards, and process cash outs
- Match you with surveys, games, offers, and partners
- Prevent fraud, abuse, multi-accounting, chargebacks, and invalid traffic
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
- Improve Platform performance, UX, and security
- Send service notices (required). Marketing emails only where permitted and with opt-out available
Under the DPDP Act framework, processing is generally based on your consent and/or legitimate uses permitted by law (including employment is not applicable here; for users, consent/contractual necessity and legitimate use for fraud prevention and service delivery are primary bases). Where consent is required, you may withdraw it, subject to consequences such as inability to use parts of the Service.
6. International transfers
Our primary operations and registered entity are in India. Partners, cloud hosts, or payout providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal data outside India, we take reasonable steps consistent with applicable law to ensure appropriate protection.
7. Retention
We retain account, wallet, and transaction records for as long as your account remains active and thereafter as reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audits, tax/accounting, and legal compliance (often several years under Indian commercial practice). Support tickets are retained as needed to resolve issues and improve service. When retention is no longer required, we delete or irreversibly anonymise data where feasible.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, hashed passwords, and monitoring for abuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act), you may request access, correction, updating, or erasure of personal data; withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; and raise a grievance. To exercise rights, email info@earnova.com from your registered email with sufficient detail to verify your identity. We may refuse or limit requests as permitted by law (e.g. retention required for legal claims or fraud prevention).
Grievance process: We aim to acknowledge privacy grievances within a reasonable period and resolve them without undue delay. If unresolved, you may pursue remedies available under Indian law, including approaching the Data Protection Board of India where applicable under the DPDP Act.
10. Children
Earnova is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it and may terminate the account.
11. Automated decisions & fraud scoring
We may use automated systems and partner quality scores to detect invalid traffic, multi-accounting, VPN/proxy abuse, or anomalous cash-out patterns. This may result in delayed credits, reversed rewards, withheld payouts, or account suspension as described in our Terms and Payout Policy. You may contact us to request human review of a significant automated decision affecting your account.
12. Third-party links & SDKs
Partner offerwalls, survey embeds, and game installs may load third-party cookies, pixels, or SDKs. We do not control those technologies. Review each partner’s privacy notice before participating.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may be notified by email or an in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
